Research
Hasse Abrahamsson and Simeon Antov, researcher at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, developed the principle of Transit-Pellets method. The method is formally known as Abrahamsson Method and received the name Transit-Pellets method in 2014. Below you will find examples of significant publications: Studies using the Transit-Pellets method.
* Studies with the original version, last marker dose 24 hrs before X-ray.
** Studies with the present version, last marker dose 12 hrs before X-ray
Below you will find examples of significant studies, children and adolescents
In comparison with other methods Wagener et al (2004) and Vande Velde et al (2013) concluded that Abrahamsson Method is the preferred method for colonic transit study among children and adolescents.
